THOUSAND ISLANDS BRIDGE AUTHORITY
The Thousand Islands Bridge system extends from Collins Landing near Alexandria Bay, New York to Ivy Lea near Gananoque, Ontario covering a distance of 8.5 miles and provides direct connection between US Interstate Rt. 81 and Canada’s Highway 401.
CUSTOMER ADVISORIES
COMMUTER DISCOUNT PROGRAM NOTICE: The Board of Directors of the Thousand Islands Bridge Authority initiated the process via Resolution No. 3 to eliminate the 16-trip commutation trip tag. There will be NO changes to the current 72 trip tag. This change is anticipated to be effective June 1, 2024. Please click here to view this notice in its entirety.
SOLAR ECLIPSE NOTICE: The Thousand Islands Bridge System between Alexandria Bay, New York, and Lansdowne, Ontario, will operate normally on April 8th, 2024, during the total solar eclipse. Bridge sidewalks will be CLOSED to the public. For more information please visit this link 2024 Solar Eclipse.
Visitors wishing to come to the area are encouraged to visit the North Country Welcome Center at 43350 Collins Landing Road, Alexandria Bay, NY 13607.
