Full-Time Electrician: The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority (the “Authority”) is seeking a skilled and reliable Electrician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical systems across Authority facilities, bridge structures, and related equipment. Seasonal Bridge Maintenance Positions: The Thousand Islands Bridge Authority is accepting applications for seasonal employment in our Bridge Maintenance Department.
Work location is the US Maintenance Shop and job duties include: surface preparation and painting of bridge structural steel, traffic direction, project assistance and grounds and building maintenance. Daily hours of work vary depending on the assignment with typically a 40 hour work week and the possibility of overtime. The season typically begins in May and runs through October. The typical work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
